Yugoslavian-born author and illustrator Manya Stojic has a wonderful way of creating simple texts and then enriching them with her brightly coloured illustrations. Rain is her first book. Manya lives in North London with her husband, author Ken Wilson-Max. Jonathan was born in 1965, the son of a rig fitter and a primary school teacher. He first developed his skills as a writer and illustrator while studying architecture, illustrating poems and lyrics that he had written.
