"Kind" by Melissa Castrillón is a beautifully illustrated story that explores the power of kindness and the impact of small acts of generosity. It follows a young girl who, while navigating her day, encounters various characters in need of assistance—a friend feeling down, a stranger in distress, and an animal in trouble. Through each interaction, she learns that kindness can illuminate the world, transforming not just her own spirit but also that of those around her. The narrative highlights the interconnectedness of human experiences, encouraging readers to embrace kindness as a fundamental part of life.
