This is an eight exciting picture stories for little ones. It is a board-book collection of eight stories about all the adventures on a fun-filled farm. Meet the many creatures on the farm, including Gertie Goat, who has a very sore throat; Pauly Pig, who's not very big; Sherlock Sheep, who has trouble getting to sleep; Rufus Dog and a mischievous jumping frog. Special indented windows on the front cover introduce all the main characters. It is a shiny foil finish on every page adds to the appeal. It is perfect for sharing with little ones, aged 2 to 7, who will delight in helping to tell the stories themselves. Young children will love these amusing stories from the farmyard. In "Gertie Goat Has a Very Sore Throat", a usually very hungry animal is off her food, and farmer Freda-May sets about trying to find out why. In "Clara Cow Be Quiet Now", a boisterous bovine disturbs her friends with her loud singing and dancing. In "Peggy Hen Counts to Ten", a chicken learns to count her young, both before and after they have hatched. In "Comfy Cat and Freda-May's Hat", a pampered pet seems to do nothing all day except sit and lie around, but one day her feline skills come in useful...These and other tales are all charmingly illustrated by Ali Lodge, and will provide fun for children and parents alike.
