She lives in California with her husband David and her three naughty cats. Nancy Carpenter is a very successful and innovative artist. Her art for Loud Emily incorporates elements of the naive style of nineteenth-century American paintings and portraits. Nancy lives in New York. Laura Huliska-Beith is the illustrator of The Goodnight Train (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt), 10 Little Ladybugs (Dalmatian), The Recess Queen (Scholastic), and dozens of other children's books. She lives with her husband and three dogs in Kansas City, MO.
