Call Me Gorgeous! is Giles' first book for children. Alexandra Milton was born in Paris where she studied art and English. She draws inspiration from her father and grandfather, both distringuished artists from Germany. She was brought up on a diet of beautifully illustrated children's books. Alexandra worked as a primary school teacher before becoming a full-time illustrator. She lives in London with her insomniac husband and three daughters. Giles Milton is a writer and journalist. He has contributed articles to most of the British national newspapers as well as many foreign publications.
