The CD will be in a plastic envelope inside the back cover of the storybook. The story will be read once through for expression and enjoyment and then read again for children to read along at the same time. A sound would signal page turns. There will be a short introduction to the story to think about the cover and what the story will be about and the puzzle activity will be pointed out. The Think About questions will be read at the end. Alex Brychta collaborated with Roderick Hunt on a series of children books for the Oxford Reading Tree which had an animated spin-off, The Magic Key series. In addition to Oxford Reading Tree, Brychta is also the illustrator of Read with Biff, Chip and Kipper (formerly Read at Home), the Wolf Hill series of books and the Time Chronicles series. He has also written and illustrated several children's books for J M Dent, Franklin Watts, and Oxford University Press. Roderick and Alex won the prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award at the Education Resources Awards 2009. Alex was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2012 New Year Honours for services to children's literature. He now lives in Surrey with wife Dina whom he has two children with, Kelly Brychta and Dylan Brychta. Martin Jarvis, who has adapted the stories in this book for younger readers, first discovered Just William when he was nine years old. He made his first adaptation of a William story for BBC radio in 1973 and since then his broadcast readings have become classics in their own right. Martin is an award-winning actor who has appeared in numerous stage plays, television series and films Kate Ruttle is a SENCO and Key Practitioner for Inclusion & Literacy in Suffolk. She has written many standardised tests for Hodder. Roderick Hunt started out as a teacher, but began writing for children in 1970.
