Professor Alan Brown teaches at Southern Methodist University in the USA. He is a memory expert who has spent more than thirty years researching how students learn. Nikole Brooks Bethea is an environmental engineer and children's writer who has written for Chelsea House and Capstone Press. She has also composed articles for magazines such as JAKES and Living the Country Life. A lifelong Southerner, she lives in the Florida panhandle with her husband and four sons. Sara Foresti grew up in a small town in Northern Italy, and graduated from graphic design school in 2007. She works as a freelance illustrator on everything from children's literature to greeting cards, educational and fiction books, digital apps, videos, and other work in design and comics.
