This illustrated picture book reveals a different desert animal on each spread who is being "watched" by another. A whole menagerie is revealed at the end of the book showing all the creatures in their distinctive habitat, including: scorpion, kangaroo rat, roadrunner, woodpecker, gila monster, iguana, puma, spadefoot toad, kit fox and locust. The book also features an informative map and picture index to facilitate learning on animals and their habitats. The "Look Who Lives In" series presents a picture book format aiming to develop children's reading skills whilst teaching them about animals and their different environments.
