Living in Lao PDR he has a specific interest in offering an insight into the real lives of people in the developed and developing countries of South and South-east Asia. The consultant, Ian Elgie, is a geographer with wide experience of teaching at universities and colleges in South-east Asia. Currently he is Head of Geography and World Development Studies at Park College, Eastbourne.
