Agnieszka Biskup is a science writer and editor based in Chicago. She is a former editor for the science section of the Boston Globe as well as the children's science magazine Muse. In addition to children's books, she has also written many articles for newspapers, magazines, and websites. Her books have received awards from Learning magazine, the Association of Educational Publishers, and the Society of School Librarians International. Her book Football: How It Works (Capstone Press, 2010) was a Junior Library Guild selection. Mari Bolte is an author of children's books and a lover of art. She lives in southern Minnesota with her husband, daughter, and two wiener dogs. A degree in creative writing has taught her the value of fine writing. Parenthood has made her a purveyor of fine art, with specializations in sidewalk chalk, washable markers, and glitter glue. Joe has illustrated for Marvel and DC Comics, and has the distinction of penciling the most #1 issues featuring SPIDER-MAN and/or the Spider-Man family. Joe and the Pop Art Properties Studio also work in the fields of commercial illustration, intellectual property design and storyboards for Animation and Video Games.
