Agnieszka Biskup is a science writer and editor based in Chicago. She is a former editor for the science section of the Boston Globe as well as the children's science magazine Muse. In addition to children's books, she has also written many articles for newspapers, magazines, and websites. Her books have received awards from Learning magazine, the Association of Educational Publishers, and the Society of School Librarians International. Her book Football: How It Works (Capstone Press, 2010) was a Junior Library Guild selection. Cristian Mallea worked as an assistant for Lucho Olivera and Horacio Lalia doing comic books and as an illustrator doing work for esoteric publishing houses. Now, Cristian works in the studio founded with partners of La Productora, doing comic books and illustrations for many countries. Anthony Wacholtz has been a baseball fan since he was old enough to pick up a bat and ball. He earned a degree in English from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and has written a biography for young readers of All-Star catcher Joe Mauer.
