The Boy Who Cried Wolf
There was a shepherd boy who liked to tease his fellow farmers by crying wolf when no wolf was there. The farmers would come running to help rescue the sheep, but when they arrived they would be met by the chuckling boy. But once a wolf did come to worry the sheep, and the boy cried out for help. But this time no-one came as the farmers no longer believed him, and the wolf killed all the boy's sheep.
