While scratching around in the dirt of a few tasty morsels, Mother Crane comes across a nest of beautiful eggs lying in the sand all alone. She resolves to hatch them herself - but what kind of babies will hatch out of the egg? Flamingo thinks they will be pink all over like him, Butterfly is sure they will have wings that glitter like her own, Giraffe believes they will have a long neck like hers and Snake thinks the eggs look too delicious for words! But when the babies hatch out and start peeping for their mother, all the animals get the surprise of their life!
