Elen Caldecott co-wrote the EVIE'S MAGIC BRACELET series with Jessica Ennis-Hill. She lives in Bristol with her husband and her dog, Peggy. She has written several warm, funny books about ordinary children doing extraordinary things. You can find her on Twitter @ElenCaldecott. Amber Lee Dodd is a writer and playwright whose work has been performed around the country and published internationally. Amber drew on extensive experience working with families dealing with disabilities to write WE ARE GIANTS. She says: This experience led me to writing characters the children wanted but scarcely appear in children's fiction: disabled people who are strong, happy and independent. These children come from ordinary backgrounds, with parents and siblings who deal with the problems we all deal with. My book is not a book about disability; it's a book about grief and growing up. It features a strong mother character who just happens to have a disability. Sharna Jackson is a curator, writer and project director and is a member of BAFTA's Children's and Learning and New Talent committees and the Children's Media Conference advisory board. Abie Longstaff wrote the Tally and Squill books because she wanted to feature an intelligent, inquisitive heroine who solves crimes by the power of her brain! Claire Llewellyn lives in Hertford and is an established non-fiction author for children. Lauren Kukla is an author and editor of books and media for kids. She loves LEGOs, gardening, and walking in the woods. Her favorite kinds of books to write are the ones that make her think. She lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with her husband, son, a silly white dog, and four city chickens. Aviel Basil studied at Shenkar College of Design in Tel-Aviv, where he currently lives and works. Since graduating in 2011, Aviel has illustrated more then a dozen children's books, which have been published in Israel. He was awarded a silver medal by the Israel Museum in 2012 for his first book. His style is inspired by 50s illustration, and he loves to use a bright and colorful palette. Rob Kemp is a UK-based writer specialising in fatherhood and masculinity. Contributing to Men's Health , Father's Quarterly and the Times Educational Supplement , he is also the bestselling author of The Expectant Dad's Survival Guide and The New Dad's Survival Guide .
