I ordered this study book for my 14 year old son who is sitting the first part of his History GCSE exam in June 2010. This was one of the few books which completely covered all of his Edexcel requirements. There were lots of Germany study books available but they only covered from 1918-1939, my son's exam went up to 1945. There were also lots of Edexcel study books that included Germany but also included subjects that my son would not be studying. This was one of the few which hit the mark, spot on. It is a very well set out study book, with specific aims, important vocabulary, historical sources and actual work exercises, including actual GCSE exam questions. It is also concise enough to keep a teenager interested, no great, long, rambling pages of historical facts that just ends up bombarding the reader, so that they lose interest and get confused. * Amazon Review *
