This CD-ROM contains written and pictorial history resources, together with activities and worksheets to aid lesson planning and pupils' studies. Cross-curricular activities and different types of text encourage users to explore and read around the topic. The level of text can be changed to allow differentiated access for readers of different age and activities. The CD uses the same format as the website, with text following the Curriculum 2000 requirements, and caption links to appropriate educational websites which may be launched from the CD. There are biographies and source banks of information, a bank of history actvities relating the area of study, and literacy and ICT lessons.
