Dawson and Pacey try to help Joey unravel the mystery, and the two Potter sisters are pitted against each other when a romance seems to develop between Bessie and the stranger. Meanwhile, Jen, Jack, Andie and Grams must deal with a mysterious artefact that Grams digs up in her rosebed.
