An enhanced version of "The Way Things Work" CD-ROM which includes a built-in link to the Mammoth Net site - a constantly updated, magazine style site on the World Wide Web for young inventors, hosted by the Great Woolly Mammoth. It also features ideas for science projects, competitions and puzzles, hints and tips and m-mail - the mammoth's own e-mail. Other features include a 3D illustrated warehouse which shows users a new way to access the disc, plus 30 video sequences featuring David McCaulay and his favourite machines.
