Alan Alexander Milne was an English author, best known for his books about the teddy bear Winnie-the-Pooh and for various poems. [Wikipedia] E. H. Shepard was born in London in 1879. He was a cartoonist and illustrator and went on to draw the original illustrations to accompany Milne's classic stories, earning him the name `the man who drew Pooh'. Catherine Hapka has written many books for children and young adults. She lives in Pennsylvania and enjoys reading, horseback riding, music, gardening, and traveling. Paola Barbato is one of the writers of Real Life . Barbara Baraldi is one of the original contributors to the Real Life Disney magazine published worldwide and one of the writers of Real Life . Thea Feldman , is the author of over 100 children's books, including several Clifford and Disney Readers. Additionally she has written and edited several My Readers MCPG (US). She is a former editorial director at Scholastic.
