Wilkie Collins (1824-1889) was a hugely popular English novelist, playwright and writer of short stories, best-known today for the groundbreaking The Woman in White, which has famously been adapted for the stage by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Jan Needle is a writer of children's books, plays, criticism, cartoons, TV programmes and a wide range of fiction for adults. He lives in Oldham and Manchester. Anatolii Slepkov is a Russian artist, a graduate of the Odessa Art College and the Repin Institute in St Petersburg. A member of the National Association of Portrait Artists of Great Britain, he is also a successful book illustrator, his titles including The Big Book of Pirates. Felix Bennett grew up in Bradford in northern England, and cut short a maths and astronomy degree at University College, London, in order to spend more time as an illustrator. He trained at Bradford, then at the Camberwell School of Art. He now lives and works in London. Educated in English at Cambridge University, Christine Kidney runs a successful editorial consultancy in rural Gloucestershire, helping authors and publishers to bring their projects to successful conclusion. Dr. Tony Evans is founder and senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, founder and president of The Urban Alternative, chaplain of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, and author of The Power of God's Names , Victory in Spiritual Warfare , and many other books. The first African American to earn a doctorate of theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, he has been named one of the 12 Most Effective Preachers in the English Speaking World by Baylor University.
