Jessica Gunderson grew up in the small town of Washburn, North Dakota. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota and an MFA in Creative Writing from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has written more than fifty books for young readers. Her book Ropes of Revolution won the 2008 Moonbeam Award for best graphic novel. She currently lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with her husband and cat. Eva Montanari is the author and illustrator of A Very Full Morning and My First. She lives in Rimini, Italy. Carolina Farias began her career as a children's book illustrator after working for several well-known animation studios, including Warner Bros. and Disney. She currently lives in La Plata, Argentina, with her husband and their two children. She has illustrated many books. Her artwork is created using a variety of mediums with a preference toward watercolors and acrylics. Colleen Madden made it through childhood pretending to be a space princess with a Wookiee sidekick and drawing in her cardboard box art studio. The books she has illustrated include Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas Is You . Monkey Walk is the first book she has also written. She lives, works, and hangs in trees around the Philadelphia area.
