An early concept storybook for shildren. When Little Bird wonders what to do one day, other animals have lots of suggestions. A frog says the little bird should hop, a worm suggests wiggling. But his mother has the best idea. Little Bird flies over the farm, around the fields and, eventually, back to his nest.

Saviour Pirotta was born and educated in Malta. In 1982, he moved to England and spent eight years working as a storyteller for the Commonwealth Institute, visiting schools and libraries around Britain. He has written over 60 books for children and adults, including Turtle Bay which won a number of awards. His work has been translated into 15 languages. He lives in Yorkshire. Stephen Butler trained at Bath Academy of Arts. He now works as a freelance illustrator and tutor in Art and Design at Tower Hamlets College. He lives in London. Saviour Pirotta has written a wide range of fiction and non-fiction texts and won awards both here and in the US.
