Jim has won numerous accolades for his paintings, including a Gold Medal from the prestigious Society of Illustrators in New York City. Jim, his wife, and their young daughter live in Brooklyn, New York. Jane Yolen has written almost three hundred books, many of them awardwinners. She lives in St. Andrews, Scotland, and Hatfield, Massachusetts.
