Martin Jenkins is an environmental consultant. He has been involved as writer and/or adviser in the production of many technical books on conservation matters, as well as the Walker non-fiction titles Fly Traps! Plants that Bite Back, runner-up for the 1996 TES Junior Information Book Award; and The Emperor's Egg, Winner of the James Brown is an illustrator and printmaker living and working in London. Trained as a textile and surface print designer, he worked in the clothing industry for 10 years. James Brown embarked on a new career as an illustrator in 2006 and has sold his prints through Cath Kidston. This is his first baby book.
