Victor Ambrus is one of Oxford's favorite children's author/illustrators and has twice won the Kate Greenaway Medal. Other books for Oxford include Blackbeard the Pirate, and Peter and the Wolf. His wife, Glenys Ambrus is an accomplished illustrator for children and has collaborated with her husband on several other books.
