Edward Lear (12 May 1812 - 29 January 1888) was an artist, illustrator and writer known for his nonsensical poetry and his limericks, a form which he popularized. Victoria Ball has been a freelance illustrator since graduating with a First in Illustration from Falmouth College of Arts in 2002. Her first illustration job was for the CITV series Ripley and Scuff. In 2008 she was shortlisted for the Best Emerging Illustrator category at the Booktrust Early Years Awards. Victoria lives in Gloucestershire with her naughty cat, Ernest Small Trousers. Victoria enjoys music, travel and baking cakes.
