Kathryn Selbert is a children's author and illustrator with a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. She currently lives in Connecticut, USA, with her French bulldog, Margot. Miriam Latimer studied illustration at the University of the West of England. She now works as a full-time illustrator and combines this with workshops for primary school children. Miriam lives with her husband and two sons in Devon, England. She is a beloved Barefoot Books collaborator whose illustration credits include The Prince's Bedtime, The Prince's Breakfast and the popular Ruby series.
