Christopher Awdry is the author of books 27-41 in the Railway Series, the first of which - Really Useful Engines - was published in 1983. Clive Spong is best known for illustrating The Railway Series books written by the Rev W Awdry and Christopher Awdry, which Spong has worked on since 1983.
