Beverley Naidoo is a South-African born writer and an educationalist. Apartheid prevented her and her Indian husband living in their country of birth, so they moved to Bournemouth, where Beverley is an Advisory Teacher for Cultural Diversity. Before turning to writing full time, Jo was an English and drama teacher. Writing as Jo Kenrick, her other books for Barrington Stoke include the Mine, Mind-Set, Perfect and Babyfather, as well as two plays for reluctant readers. She lives in Witney, Oxfordshire.
