When Linbury goes green, Jennings and Darbishire offer to do their bit for the environment. They are sent to distribute leaflets, but Darbishire's shoelace just refuses to stay tied. Jennings takes the rubber band off the leaflets to perform an emergency repair. All seems fine, until a gust of wind hurls the leaflets over Marina Gardens...

Anthony Buckeridge wrote the original Jennings stories as radio plays which were broadcast on the BBC in the late Forties. The first Jennings book appeared in 1950, to be followed by two dozen more. He died in 2004 at the age of 92.
