Kids will relate to Arlo, the adorable armadillo, as he faces some common childhood situations: moving to a new home, trying to make friends and dealing with bullies. The burrow where Arlo's family now lives is cosy and comfy, but he's lonely without anyone to play with. Even worse, his first journey into the neighbourhood forest doesn't go too well. But soon, Arlo realises that two is better than one and a new and unexpected friendship is born.

Wendy Wax is an accomplished collage artists. Her work in advertising has included campaigns for American Express, Viacom Interactive Media, and HBO. Her collages have also appeared in Sports Illustrated for Kids, 3 2 1 Contact and Outside Magazine for Kids. This is the first book that she has written and illustrated for children.
